You really have to love the web as a self-replicating organism, especially with the advent of user-generated content and social networking engines. This site is a prime example: a web 2.0 site that makes it as easy as possible for other people to make other sites which look as web 2.0 as possible.. A similar idea is found at http://www.ajaxload.info/, another Ajaxed site where you can create a “loading” image which matches the standard web 2.0 look.

For the record, I adore both these sites, technically, aesthetically and usability wise, and they’ll undoubtedly be of great use - I’m merely pointing out the interesting way in which web 2.0 is being used to replicate itself
