The IIS team have released a mod_rewrite-like module for IIS7, which appears to be fairly similar to the routing part of the recently-released ASP.Net MVC framework. It’s very well documented, and contains a migration tool for rulesets written specifically for mod_rewrite. I’ll be trying this out shortly

Unfortunately, the only option for IIS6 users is still commercial tools such as the Helicon ISAPI URLRewriter package.
